The RS Enhanced Intelligent Tracking Module allows you to frame and track subjects directly from the RS 5’s touchscreen. It supports tracking of people, vehicles, pets, and other objects.
The touchscreen lets you select subjects and adjust tracking with intuitive controls.

How many subjects can the RS 5 follow with ActiveTrack?

DJI RS 5 can track up to one subject at a time when using ActiveTrack on the gimbal’s touchscreen.

How do I change ActiveTrack composition?

You can adjust ActiveTrack composition in three ways:
1. Use the touchscreen icon in ActiveTrack settings to select “Keep Current Framing” or “Center Tracking Subject”.
2. Control framing with the grip joystick.
3. Use “Double L” hand gestures to set and lock composition.

How do I activate DJI RS 5?

Turn on the gimbal, enable Bluetooth on your phone, and connect via the Ronin app. Select DJI RS 5 and follow the on-screen steps. The default password is “12345678”.

How do I update firmware?

Open the Ronin app, connect RS 5, and follow the firmware update prompt. Do not turn off the gimbal or exit the app during updating.
